Hi, I love it!! Exactly what I've been looking for. I am planning on doing something similar, but I've never installed a backsplash before. I was wondering if you could answer a few questions for me.
1. What kind of tiles did you use (e.g., ceramic, stone)? Is there a specific model/color?
2. We have a similar stove. Did you pull the stove out to place the tiles behind it, or did you work around it?
3. I like the design. Do you think that would be too complicated for amateurs?
1) Stone, I'll have to find out specifics on it, but I know he got it at Lowes
2) He pulled the stove out, the tiles do go down a bit, not all the way though.
3) Well, he's a pro, so it only took him the one afternoon to do it, but based on when I did some tiling in February, you should be able to do it, just make sure you have a good cutting tool, and really plan it out beforehand
